The problem with using Retail Box Stores to perform the actual rennovation is that you simly don't know who you are going to get. You may get the premium contactor who is just slow and needs to pick up extra work. However, you might also get Jimbob, who thinks he is God's gift to carpentry simply because he can hold a hammer. These stores are too large to adequately manage their own installs, so they sub out the work to the next guy in line. There is nothing wrong with shopping at box stores; we do...
